Project "DireSnake Bomb"

  DECOR
Well, there left to make the decor and illumination, as entire existing illumination consisted of light fans and two decor-panels of black acryl, which have been pasted with glue to external disks. With the help of sandpaper the internal side of these disks was toned, and 8 mm tube of thermocontraction was pasted by internal diameter, which densely pressed the grid. Eight blue 3 mm light-emitting diodes of increased brightness have been placed in formed internal groove, which made at once the text easily readable and brightly illuminated contours of the case. As I refused installation of two 120 mm fans so it was possible to use somehow spare holders. 7 cm piece of a transparent aquarian tube (light green color) has been pasted on each of them, in which white 3 mm light-emitting diodes were inserted into two sides. Power cables of light were led to one place under motherboard where power splitter was assembled. Lateral disks fixed with 4 mm bolts with cap nut. In order to decorate the grid somehow I drew on it the figure of snake on the background of radiation sign by means of permanent marker.

Non-constructive thoughts about modding...

All began when one day my neighbour, he is Automatic Control Engineer, came and started to beg me to give him one diode. When I asked him why, he typed modding in a search engine. And it had a great effect on me. I was sick about it. Maybe there is nothing accidental in the world and this modding seed fell into good soil. All my life I was interested in design.
