  It was necessary to work hard with IDE ribbon cables. The ribbon cable for DVD-ROM was slightly altered from a bought one. The most suitable part of the cable was found, the superfluous socket was cut off, socket was disconnected, and color braid of the rope was put on atop already stand-up plastic tube of the round. After that it was necessary just to assemble the socket anew. With the cable of hard disk such trick did not work as the arrangement of hard disk was not just right away from IDE-socket (i.e. exactly in the center of motherboard) but also it was turned upside down. At that the distance in 5 mm between the board and power unit did not allow in any way to install there something thick. So it was necessary to use a conventional ribbon cable, which was loosened in four ribbons, folded in necessary angles for it did not cover the panel with control contacts. Then it was necessary just to lay all cables through apertures in reinforcing ribs and to insert them in its places. Just at this stage the idea of installation Card Reader has come. Generally it was external but due to quite good case it was altered in internal one. Alterations are minimal - cable was extended to necessary length, extra USB socket was added and card-reader was pasted to the bottom of motherboard supporting panel. By the way, because of its position it is hard to find it :). The cable from card-reader was also laid through the apertures in the ribs, along with the wires from control panel and interconnection of light equipment.
