Home-made case for fanless computer.

    Spring… it’s time for love and period of sharpening of feelings, time of clinical symptoms of mental disorder, time of feats, scandals and manuscripts burning… This year my illness declared itself again in making a kinky device :) Let’s start from the very beginning… If you haven’t tried to get a piece of nonferrous metal for your modding this article can make you smile… It seems that you can buy everything in our country, not to mention a plate of aluminium. In actual fact it’s not so easy… If you’ve decided to buy a piece of aluminium you’ll come across the lack of understanding of trade organizations. They have a simple order: they whether offer to buy a huge sheet for a thousand dollars or say you goodbye… Attempts to buy the cherished metal in factories are also doomed to failure – all the metal has already been handed over to scrap metal receiving points. In scrap metal receiving points you’ll find nothing but fresh-stolen wires and cables, parts of cars and old saucepans… Any amateur of modding will face this vicious circle trying to find a piece of aluminium or copper ingot. But there are some ways out… People solve this problem by different means. My “means” helped me in a strange way… I was looking for a sheet of 10 mm aluminium for fanless computer case, and I managed to find it to my own misfortune… I’m going to describe the technology but ask you not to blame me for the quality of pictures because it’s very difficult to shoot shining aluminium…

 
   The sheet was not ideally plain and not new… Judging by the dents on its surface it was used for straightening work pieces… with a sledgehammer… for ten years without a break… After that the aluminium sheet was made an incision by sawing and broken (!) into four pieces… judging by the geometry violation, the sheets were broken with an excavator bucket. In short, I am knocked speechless…
 

  There was nothing for it, I didn’t have other variants and decided to use the available material. First of all I flatten the sheets.
