Silent computer in self-made case.

    Now the most important stage of the construction comes. Start making a cooler for the processor on heat pipes.
I start with Thermaltake Big Typhoon dismantling. I’m used to this work, so I manage to cope with it in 30 minutes at most. Then I mark and drill copper heat removers. This is an important process which I don’t like.., if you’ve ever drilled thick copper you’ll understand why…
   The technology is described in details in this article. The only difference of this construction is that I decided not to solder the pipes to all heat removers, but soldered them only to the processor heat remover. This seems a trifle but the decision turned out to be very successful. In the result heat remover mounting became easier because not soldered pipes are moveable in heat removers and make a kind of moving hinge… In a word, the construction assembling became considerably simpler. I recommend everybody to do the construction in the same way. I think over most suitable disposition of heat blocks and bind heat pipes…
 

   You can bind the heat pipes in such way. Put the place of binding into a groove and bind it by hand. This will prevent the pipe from breaking and flattening.
 

  After grinding-in, fasteners drilling and all adjustments, I solder cooler to the mother board on a range burner.
