Silent computer
Fanless computer / 0dBA Project rev. 2
This is the final variant:
As the construction weight exceeded a kilogramme (mainly because of heat remover), I added a prop to be on the safe side. One more prop (it is not seen in the photo) joined the transient thermal block with the board textolite; fortunately there was a likely hole for a screw here.
Minimal overlocking of the board after all the modding made 580 \ 440 against the initial 520 \ 375, temperatures under “hairy block” – 75 (core) \ 80 (memory).

Non-constructive thoughts about modding... |
All began when one day my neighbour, he is Automatic Control Engineer, came and started to beg me to give him one diode. When I asked him why, he typed modding in a search engine. And it had a great effect on me. I was sick about it. Maybe there is nothing accidental in the world and this modding seed fell into good soil. All my life I was interested in design.
