Custom Case "WoodBox"

Case coolers with illumination are protected not only with the handle for handling the cube but also by a metal grid (bought in IKEA). The grid is set between internal case and decor-panels.

DVD and CD-RW are placed in lift-up cover-block. IDE ribbon cable runs throw the bottom wall of this block so that it stays in the case. From the other side molex socket cut into the wall, from which the power supply is distributed. LPT-socket for LCD-screen cut into back wall as well.

The water-block for a bubble mod. The neck cut off of a plastic bottle cut into the top wall for pouring water. As in the prospect there was a device of water-cooling so the brass tubes, on which shower hose is held (fitting?), were pasted in bottom part in milled apertures. The aquarian spray was pasted in the back part from below - it produces a lot of bubbles unlike simple tubes perforating. The panel with necessary buttons and switches will be attached close to the big through hole from the within side. Six UV-diodes make illumination of the water-block.

Non-constructive thoughts about modding...

All began when one day my neighbour, he is Automatic Control Engineer, came and started to beg me to give him one diode. When I asked him why, he typed modding in a search engine. And it had a great effect on me. I was sick about it. Maybe there is nothing accidental in the world and this modding seed fell into good soil. All my life I was interested in design.
