With AMD quiet as a wingless fly and HIS only posting a card on its website, GeCube has decided to step in and be the first to officially announce the Radeon HD 2900 Pro. The card is basically your average cut-down Radeon HD 2900XT as it features all its bells and whistles (like the 512-bit memory bus) but comes with lower clocks. The R600 GPU powering the Radeon HD 2900 Pro is clocked at 600 MHz and has all 320 SPs working while the card's GDDR3 memory is clocked at 1600 MHz.

As all HD 2000 series cards, the 2900 Pro supports DirectX 10 and it also boasts built-in support for HDMI, 5.1 surround sound and 'native' CrossFire.

GeCube's card is equipped with 512 MB of memory and it can be viewed just below.
