Making a luminous Linux logotype.

I want to tell you about a simple and available method of a coloured luminous logo making. The technology is so unsophisticated that anyone who wishes can make his own logo of any type.
I’ve decided to make a logo of the popular operating system Linux to give pleasure to a good friend of mine. When choosing a picture for the logotype pay attention to one important detail – the illustration shouldn’t have fragments or details jutting out of the borders. Otherwise, this will cause some difficulties later. These difficulties can be get over but it’s better to circumvent them…
First of all print the logo by means of a colour laser printer. If you print it on an ink-jet printer, you’ll come across some difficulties and quality will be lower… I inform non-experienced users that laser printer prints only on a special film designated for such printing. If you put another kind of film fabric, for example film used for flowers wrapping or sausage cover or something else, the printer will break down for ever as standard film fabrics don’t sustain heating up to 200°C and melt inside the printer. So, print the future logotypes on a film, advisable on a matte film.

I’ve got such funny penguins in the result. For those who don’t know – this silly bird is the logo of the famous operating system. It’s interesting which bird could be the logo of Windows… Excuse me for digressing from the main point… Cut some pictures out.

Non-constructive thoughts about modding...

All began when one day my neighbour, he is Automatic Control Engineer, came and started to beg me to give him one diode. When I asked him why, he typed modding in a search engine. And it had a great effect on me. I was sick about it. Maybe there is nothing accidental in the world and this modding seed fell into good soil. All my life I was interested in design.
