Silent computer
A noiseless hard drive in one day
The position of its breath hole remained a mystery for us. A captious external examination gave no results. We decided not to remove electronics plate because we didn’t want to lose warranty. But we can assume that the breath hole is under this board (this is marginally proved by a half year proper functioning). Lead the breath tubule under the plate.
Then install the hard disk to be sunk in a new thin plastic sachet. The sachet must be safe, i.e. without holes and flaws.
To provide good thermal contact, smear all the heated microchips and controlling transistors with a thin layer of thermal paste. Then suck air with your moth out of the sachet (but don’t go too far), purse the rest of polyethylene and fix it with sticky tape. Reel the loops with friction tape or a piece of wire.

Non-constructive thoughts about modding... |
All began when one day my neighbour, he is Automatic Control Engineer, came and started to beg me to give him one diode. When I asked him why, he typed modding in a search engine. And it had a great effect on me. I was sick about it. Maybe there is nothing accidental in the world and this modding seed fell into good soil. All my life I was interested in design.
