A noiseless hard drive in one day

  The results of the noiseless hard disk box testing pleased us. 80 % of the noise were suppressed! There is no trace of spindle squeak. There is only a barely perceptible vibration and heads chatter. The temperature is also normal. When the room temperature was 23° C we could in no way heat the hard disk more than 37° C. We carried out defragmentation and formatting but the temperature didn’t exceed 37° C. We gained a victory! Everyone can mount a good Winchester disk after such successful testing but… not everyone wants to smear a new hard disk with paste… At first, the warranty repair workers will not favour such modding if you try using their service later. Secondly, it’s not clear how this will affect the condition of numerous contacts and connectors…
