Banality number four.
All that I wrote here is just my own opinion. But I think that installation of a computer into a microwave-oven (fridge, guitar, bin, woman mannequin, VHS carcass and so on) is only a funny experiment with space, not containing logical and esthetical functions. And it doesn’t affect any emotions except “original”. But computer installed in an old radio carcass (“radiola" project) gives another sense: it's the implementation of all modern technologies, multimedia centre, which is computer nowadays, physically combined with device from the past.  Paradoxically of this combination is like a good book or a conversation with a clever person and in the same way it’s pleasant (maybe, I read too much Strugatsky’s books and listened to too much Beetles’s songs in my childhood). It is very important in defining degree of novelty: the result should be higher than if you just plus the qualities of the main components. That is 1+1 should not be 2 (and of course not 1,02) but 3,5,10 or 100! If you combine the computer components with a case, designed for other device try to make a higher sense for this combination. Or just think it out.

Banality number five.
Don’t overweight your make. It’s hard for a beginner to retain from mounting one more diode. And no matter if it light just in your eyes or if it’s color mismatch all other diodes and that it’s doesn’t change the appearance of your computer. In such case a system for separate lighting diodes (mechanical or programmed) can help. But it’s only working with lighting, there is also colour, size, surface and so on.
